It was a frustrating struggle that any homeowner with a swimming pool understands. When you work with Rick Pinto, you get an owner who is involved in his business, office support that is actually helpful (they answer the phone in-person!), and a swimming pool that is well taken care of. I could not ask for anything more from my pool service company.
There are many pool service choices in Stamford. There are even a few with the Pinto name which I found to be confusing. "Rick Pinto Swimming Pools built my pool in 2005. They did an outstanding job across the board. From design, to implementation, to creativity to price, I was entirely satisfied. They stand behind their work. They completed the project in a timely manner. They were completely forthcoming from the beginning in terms of issues that might arise during the construction phase including ledge, blasting etc. In other words, in dealing with them, there were no surprises. Most importantly, Rick is on the job nearly every day. When we considered some of the larger companies to build our pool, we met with sales people and designers but never the owner. I can't overstate the importance of having the owner of the company on site during construction to make sure everything is handled professionally.
